I have a dream where all the LUNC Communities connect with each other and work together. Maybe it is ambitious, but if we achieve this then it could create a better place for everyone.
You can take LUNC from the IBC, but you can’t take the IBC from LUNC.
This is the main idea behind what I’m about to suggest. Similarly to how IBC channels exist between chains, I believe if we follow a similar model and apply it to our community we can hopefully reduce the FUD. In other words, if we create channels of communication between groups we can crate a better community.
FUD promotes drama, hate, and often unstable persons take this to the extreme by hurting others — stalking, death threats in messages, etc. This must stop before it gets out of hand and someone gets hurt irreparably.
Creating communication channels between divided groups isn’t easy. It must not be a forced process, this is natural and fee flowing. It starts from one individual putting their pride aside and making contact. I believe this could have exponential effect. Once an individual has established a positive contact with another group, future individuals from the opposing group would feel safer to approach.
What I acknowledge: you can’t change people’s affiliations. This is simply about establishing communication beyond the hate words and hurt in the community.
Since LUNC is IBC “bound”, psychologically, this promotes decentralization and hence division. We should embrace that. And similar to the IBC, we should create bridges between divisions.
